I had a rough idea in mind of the mantle I wanted for my new fireplace and had drawn a VERY rough sketch of my idea. I showed it to Chris and together we discussed and refined the idea and determined the types of woods that would work best to get the look I was seeking and that would work with the rest of the colors of the room. When it was built and installed, I couldn't have been more thrilled. The craftsmanship is truly amazing. This is an exceptional piece of work. The detail and workmanship surpassed anything I had envisioned. The inlaid wood design is so smooth, it feels like a solid piece of wood. The colors are perfect. The mantel is the centerpiece of the room and I can't tell you how many people have commented on its uniqueness and beauty. I couldn't have asked for more. - Neil & Deb

Chris did an impeccable job. Every joint is perfect, everything fits perfectly. We had the cabinet doors and drawers inset - everything closes with ease and has the same spacing around all the edges. The details are amazing from the hidden drawers to the wooden grids in the utensil drawer. I love the inside of the cabinets almost as much as the outside. I waited a long time for a new kitchen. The wait was worth it to get so much quality workmanship combined with top of the line materials. Even the granite man praised Chris and said he is one of the few independent contractors he would allow to make templates for the counters. Our kitchen was antiquated, drab and virtually non functional. An original "Starr Home Kitchen" we were living with the range top and oven on different sides of the room, no functional space for our refrigerator, no dishwasher, wasted space and too little counter top. Preparing a meal for our family was an ordeal and clean up only prolonged the pain.
Chris came in measured, studied and then designed a kitchen which is absolutely beautiful, a joy to work in, and dazzles all who visit us. The cherry cabinets he hand-made are beautiful. The craftsmanship is spectacular and the inclusion of Chris's innovative ideas, such as a sheet pan slot, lazy susan carousals in corner cabinets and pot and pan drawers have tripled our storage space. Chris's assistance did not stop with the design and cabinetry. He guided us in the selection of our new appliances and then designed around them, insuring they would fit the space allocated.
